Prof. Dr. Hasan Basri Arifoğlu
A member of the European Vitreoretinal Society; she received the Gazi Eye Foundation Award in 2014 for her contributions to ophthalmology.
Prof. Dr. Hasan Basri Arifoğlu is an experienced ophthalmologist and eye surgeon. He specializes in strabismus, photorefractive keratectomy, corneal transplantation, anti-VEGF and intravitreal injection therapies, and botulinum toxin type A. He completed his advanced training at the University of Chicago and has also received training at the European Society of Vitreoretinal Surgery.
Dr. Arifoğlu received the Gazi Eye Foundation Award in 2014. He was also awarded the EVRS European Vitreoretinal Training School Award in 2016. Since 2015, he has been a member of the Turkish Ophthalmology Society, the Turkic Republics Ophthalmology Society, and the European Vitreoretinal Society.
